My partner and I own four properties we use for ourselves and share with others. One is in Tucson; two are in Oklahoma, one on the Illinois River and one on Lake Tenkiller; then, one on the beach in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. She and I are now both retired and enjoy traveling so we are fortunate in being able to enjoy our own homes but at the same time have rental income for seeing the world and discovering new locations for must have properties.
I arrived in Tucson (from Western Kansas) for my first engineering position just out of college. I was so taken back by the mystery of the dessert and the majesty of the mountains. I started a family here but eventually moved cross country for a management position of a large construction company. However, I kept my home in Tucson knowing I would definitely return.
We started calling this “Tea Time” jokingly because of all the many “Tee Time” rentals for golfers in the area. Our “Tea Time” is unique in that it is so quiet and relaxing here…whether your wake-up beverage is tea or coffee, drinking it while watching the sunrise on the mountains is indescribable. You’ll then be ready for your day. Whether you are in need of retail therapy, fresh air or soaking up the Southwest culture, simply walk out the front door and you are literally only minutes from malls, the foothills, U of A campus, hiking and biking trails, downtown, and, of course, the many well known golf courses.
